Spring Fire Season is Coming!

Hey Logan County, believe it or not, spring wildfire season begins in March. Please be careful with all outdoor burning, and remember that there is a statewide open burning ban between the hours of 6:00 am and 6:00 pm throughout the months of March, April and May!

Once the snow finally melts, all of the dead vegetation and crop residues around the county will dry quickly, and can burn readily with the right dry and windy conditions. More than 95% of wildfires in Logan County are human-caused. Don’t put yourself and your neighbors in peril by irresponsible burning.
